on this trip.Note the two cable cars going up the mountan.
We didn't get into taking the tours of Rio because we know this is one city we will visit often. This time we very much enjoyed it like natives. |

This view is so great - we are including a slightly different angle and blown up shot - Tiffany demanded it since it was her favorite view of the whole trip. So much beauty in one eyeful almost seems impossible. |
| Below is the lagoa - lagoon. It is a body of fresh water (very polluted though) just behind the beaches of the southern zone of Rio - were most of the tourists enjoy the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, and Gavea. |  |

Down below is Gavea where Hans was born and his neighborhood as a child. It sits just below the mountains, home of one of Rio's largest favela's (shanty towns) - Rocinha. |
